In May 2024, 18 years after the incident, a heartfelt memorial service was held at the accident site in Baghdad. Joined by pastors and friends, the group gathered to pay their respects. During the visit, the group also went to a nearby church, fostering a spirit of reconciliation and forgiveness with the congregation—a true testament to the power of God’s love and unity.
