Our Mission

The Ephesians 6:12 verse that he carried in his body until the end was that he fought against the authorities in Iraq for world peace, but he believed that the people there were God’s beloved people. Although he was sacrificed there, The Fallen Hero Jangho Kim Foundation wants to do for the their people what PFC Jangho Kim would have wanted to do as a Christian.

We seek to bring positive change to their lives through the following initiatives:

  1. Supporting organizations that want to build churches, schools, orphanages, and refugee facilities in Iraq.
Psalm 82:3: “Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed.”
Deuteronomy 10:18: “He defends the cause of the fatherless and the widow, and loves the foreigner residing among you, giving them food and clothing.”
  2. Sharing the message that God loves them to instill joy and hope in their faith.
John 3:16: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
Romans 15:13: “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
  3. Provide regular support to children who are unable to continue their studies due to economic hardship, so they can enjoy basic educational opportunities.
Matthew 25:40: “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’”
Proverbs 22:6: “Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old, they will not turn from it.”
  4. Offering systematic support through English and computer education, empowering them to secure professional employment.
Proverbs 16:3: “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.”
James 1:5: “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.”
  5. Sharing God’s love by providing necessities to people displaced by war.
Isaiah 58:7: “Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter—when you see the naked, to clothe them, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?”
2 Corinthians 1:4: “Who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble.”

We cherish the legacy that PFC Jangho Kim has left behind and strive to embody God’s love and peace in our mission.
